From an idea to a beloved brand.
High-quality jewelry, as well as designer items and gifts created in Latvia, all in one place.
Our story began in December 2014. As the holidays approached, I was looking for a large, massive, and noticeable floral necklace to match my outfit, but I couldn't find anything suitable at an affordable price. That's how I came up with the idea – if not, I'll offer it myself.
The beginning was modest – a small, rented office in Valmiera, on the 2nd floor of Stacijas Street, where orders were placed and jewelry was sold through the then-popular portal draugiem.lv, as well as, a few months later, through our online store.
It quickly became clear that being on the 2nd floor and entering through the courtyard door was not the most convenient solution for customers, so after about half a year we moved to the 1st floor of the same building, where the first in-person store was opened.
Later, we collaborated with the Valmiera shopping center “Valleta”, where in 2019 we opened a small jewelry stand, which then turned into a cozy, stylish and customer-friendly store, where you can still find us today. In turn, the Stacijas Street store was closed after 10 years of existence in early 2014, because after the pandemic, buyer habits changed, and the main emphasis shifted to online shopping, so today we take special care to ensure that our online store is convenient, visually attractive and customer-friendly.
Why did we say goodbye to the original name “Daniela” Jewelry?
The brand was originally named after my daughter Daniela. It was heartfelt and personal, but over time it became clear that the name no longer reflected who we are. Customers often assumed that Daniela was me, and that the entire brand was based solely on jewelry.
But now our assortment is much wider – it includes not only jewelry, but also clothing, designer gifts, cosmetics and interior items created right here in Latvia. Therefore, a need arose for a new name that would reflect our true essence and allow us to grow internationally.
